Subject: soaking vs. resurfacing????
|
i have a illusion ball that has never been resurfaced yet and has a year and a half on it,around 2-3 leagues winter leagues and a 12 week summer league. it appears that the ball is probally oil soaked and from time to time i have soaked it in dishwater for awhile.before winter leagues start i want to refresh the ball to get a better more reacting shot again, question is-there is no big guages or chips what so ever in it,what would be best-resurface job or (as someone suggested)maybe a more intense wash job, soaking in a very hot bucket (ball totally submerged)of dish water(maybe degreaser)for 1 or 2 hours at a time, doing this 3 or 4 times to try to get oil out of shell??? thanks
