In my Friday night league, they gave us the option of bowling that night or post-bowling by the following Monday. We normally don't have post-bowling, but here in eastern PA, we were getting a rain/snow/ sleet mix all day.

Yeah, plus a bunch of wimps won't show up so I'll win all the points. Oh, and on the other side of the planet they're not having any winter at all. Seems like we get our PLUS theirs. we've had about 40 inches of snow so far this season, almost a third of last year's total already. -John O

I'm in Iowa, between Davenport and Dubuque. In the past week we have had a winter snow storm -12 inches in that one, another winter storm, blizzards with winds up to 40 mph and sub-zero wind-chill (and actual temps for the past 24 hours) for most of the past six days. Tomorrow is going to be better and then Tuesday another brutal storm will come in. Some leagues have been called off, but not many.
