Subject: heads and midlane dry, back ends dirty - how to play?

Any ideas how to play this condition?
A women's league bowls ahead of my men's league and the lanes are not
dressed in between. Most of the women throw plastic, so the oil gets pushed
down the lane. By the end of my 2nd game, the heads and midlane are
breaking down bigtime but the back ends are dirty, resulting in a ball that
doesn't really drive thru the pocket and lots of splits and corner pins.
Had to shoot 220 last week pointing the ball up the 15th board, just to
finish with 550. It almost isn't even bowling by then, trying to throw hard
and loft the ball far enough to delay the hook, yet keeping enough energy on
the ball to hit the pocket.
