If they mentioned on TV, I sure missed it: Bo has mentioned several times
about the "voting" but I don't think he mentioned *WHO* got to vote. I
just crawled around the PBA website and the only mention it makes of the
voting is:

Walter Ray Williams Jr. of Ocala, Fla., the man who finally eclipsed
Anthony’s total of 43 career PBA titles, finished second in voting
conducted by a national panel of bowling experts.

a "national panel"? Who chose them? How many? Current PBA members? Past
PBA members?, writers?, proprietors?

I think the "panel" was Randy Pederson and Rob Stone. The 'decision'
was probly a coin toss!! I mean, you KNEW it was gonna be one of them
two from the very beginning, and you can justify it going EITHER way.
They still have to give WRW something to shoot for, I guess.

Just to mess with folks they should've made Earl #3, WRW #2, and Mike
Scroggins #1, and tried to justify it somehow. Or Billy Oatman.

I didn't find a list either but I thought the top 50 was biased toward
players from the last 15 years. Maybe 50 is too many. A top twenty
would have forced harder selection criteria.
