Subject: Watching myself bowl on my computer

Hello, I just bought my first computer and would like to know how I would go
about videotaping myself bowling and then being able to watch it on my
computer. What type of camera should I buy and what type of software or
hardware do I need to view what I have videotaped. Thanks. Desertsnake

In addition to Tony's reply, if you have a digital STILL camera with MPEG
motion capability, you can use it too. Just make sure you have Someone Else
operating the camera so you can totally Devote Yourself to the deliveries,
etc.
FWIW, I use my Sony CD-Mavica to record some of the kids I work with. It's
a GREAT "instant feedback" tool using the camera's review screen. :)

If you don't already have a camera it is really simple... buy a digital
video camera. The camera instructions will tell you how to store your
videos on your computer. If you already have an analog video camera, or
are planning on buying one, you will need a capture card and software.
Pinnacle System bought out a really good company, Dazzle Multimedia,
that sold complete video capture systems (capture card and software) and
now offers their products on their site. There are other products out
there too. Here is the link to Dazzle video capture kits.
