Subject: Wanting to get better

I started bowling ten pins at age 18. Became an avid bowler and was
improving.
I drifted away because of my work schedule.
25 years later my brother asked me to join his team as I'm now retired
and have time. This year I've managed to improve my average from 156
to 175 but I want more.
I'm using a Brunswick Punisher and like the ball, I can't throw a high
rev or spin and my ball gives me about a ten board arc. I wonder if a
new ball would give me more explosion at the pocket. If so what
Ball?
Any suggestions as how to improve would be appreciated.
