Subject: Triplicate or 700?

I shot 233, 233 on the last night of league Thursday. With 185 in the 8th,
and a strike in the 9th, I wanted to finish with a 700+. The first one in
the 10th was right there for a strike. The second looked just as good but
left me a stone 8. Now the dilema - make the spare for 700 even, or miss it
for a 699 triplicate. The game was already in the bag, so the pin didn't
matter. I decided against missing on purpose, and made the spare for 234.
What would you have done in the same situation??
