As of today, my daughter is the 2005 Michigan State High School Jr.
Varsity Singles Champion :)

She bowled in a tournament with a field that had 95 girls compete, and
then they cut to 32, then 16, etc. She got to the championship match
and TIED the other girl, and in the two-frame roll-off she went
9-spare, strike 9-open (oof). The other girl had 9-open in the 9th and
then threw a double followed by a leaving a 10 pin on the fill shot and
my daughter won, 39-38.

Then of course her first thing right after the tournament was to run to
the pro shop to see her driller and show off her tournament hardware
and claim: "I want an Intense Inferno now!"

Teenagers... :D

My congratulations on a very impressive accomplishment! I hope you have lots
of pictures, to help remember the occasion.
It's going to be hard to top that, but she's young and very easily
could. That Intense Inferno might be a good idea. :)

My driller, a Brunswick rep, says the Intense has too much over/under for
his tastes.

Congrats to your daughter. I had the high score in the Iowa High School
boys team tourney in 1989 and it was a nice honor.
