Subject: "Semi [finger] Inserts"

I have started using Vise Grip Brand's "semi inserts". Instead of being
ovals or lifts, they have a slight hill or protusion where the joint of
your finger rests in the fingerhole. Kind of like a speed bump.
So far they are very comfortable---to me. But I haven't used them in
all conditions yet.
I was just wondering if anybody has used these and your thoughts both
pro AND con on them. I realize it's mostly personal preference
involved, but am interested in a consensus on these. Aldo curious if
they have been around for a long time and I am just late in noticing
them, or if they are a newer product.
