Subject: Randy Peterson at Dexter TOC- poor sport?
broadcast of the Dexter TOC? First he yelled at some kid in the stands,
telling him to stand like a little statue. In the last frame he
essentially blamed someone in the stands for his missing the shot
because "they coughed". He went on to make a spectacle of himself by
berating the fan for a lot longer than he should have.
I don't know what happened or how bad it was, but I have never seen a
PBA bowler act this way throughout a match. Once Patrick Allen got mad
when a fan took a picture with flash as he was bowling, and that's a
little more justifiable to be mad about IMHO. PA expressed his
displeasure then let it go, and went on to win and go on to the finals.
Pederson went on and on and on about how someone else was responsible
for his loss.
Pederson should look to himself for the reason he lost- he missed the
very makeable 3-10 early on. leaving an open frame. I am not a pro and
I make that one a lot more often than I miss it. If he would have made
that 3-10 he would have won easily.
If he can't handle bowling in front of fans or take defeat graciously,
maybe RP belongs back in the broadcast booth and off of the tour.
