Did I miss some posts? No mention whatsoever of the Pro Qualifier? Pretty
interesting, I think, all the fairly "big names" that have just retired
[and a surprising, I think, number of fairly unknowns...]. I hope the
PBA's gamble of having "recognizable faces" each week pays off..

I didn't hear about the final results. Do you have a web site we can check?
Thanks.

Here is the PBA news release on the qualifier final 8.

http://www.pba.com/news/default.asp?ID=3245&Type=1

Here is the PBA news release on Tommy Delutz missing the 2004-5 season
for surgery. He will be given back his exemption in 2005-6 season.

Here is the PBA news release giving the #9 qualifier, Bill Rowe, Canada,
Delutz' exemption in 2004-5.

http://www.pba.com/news/default.asp?ID=3257

This means that Chris Hayden, who finished one slot below the top 50
during the season, will not get Delutz' exemption. My feeling is, since
the qualifier was for 8 exemptions, that Hayden should have gotten the
nod.

I agree. Delutz was already in the top 50, so due to his injury, it should
have been the next highest on the point list from last year. Had it been one
of the 8 from Tour Trials that got hurt, THEN it should have went to #9. Too
bad for a real good guy (and PBA national titlist) in Chris Hayden.
