Alright, im a junior bowler and i bowl in a YABA saturday morning league, my team has won our division the last 2 years, but were in 6/8 this season, we did pick up 2 new guys as our other 2 dont bowl at our house anymore, well here is my question, we have a bowler on our team another teammates brother who just isnt any good, he carries a 114 average but bowls 2/3 games under 100 each week, i mean it pisses me off because we try to teach him and so do the coaches but he doesnt listen to any of us, even his parents / brother (who bowls on the team) try to help him, he is 13 but i wasnt like that 2 years ago when i was 13, i mean it is a 4 man team and he is the only 1 under 150, our 2nd man carries a 157, our 3rd man carries a 163 and the anchor (me) carries a 206, what should we do about our teammates brother? should we get rid of him for next season and find someone better? i mean im all for him staying if he woul listen to what we tell him to help im improve but he is just so in-to himself thinking he know's everything, i mean every game he trys to throw a different ball in the way of curving, (not an actual new ball) one game he will try a conventional hook for a righty, (right to left) then some he will try a back-up ball (left to right) and others he will just go straight, all 3 of us (other teammates) including his brother are sort of fed-up with us losing to other teams in the league because he simply cant perform over his average, yeah there are weeks that us other 3 cant either but most of the time us 3 are over are averages by 20-30, and we will still loe by 10-15 pins because he is 10-15 under his average, not to mention it doesnt help we have 2 teams with 300 + pins handicap per game (IMO they should be in the junior division not the senior division) but thats really besides the point, well anyways, as i stated im open to any idea's as to what you guys think i should do as team captain in my situation.
