Ok, it's not all that exciting that the ABC scale room has some new
equipment for 2005, but when I read this passage I immediately thought
of our good friend Aki "Mr. 500" Damme. Aki sadly won't be bowling with
TI this year because his wife told him he had to go to the Bahamas and
rather than telling her: "hell no, I'm going bowling", he said: "yes
dear".
In any case, here is the quote:
"It is estimated that the more than 65,000 bowlers who will compete in
the 2005 ABC Tournament will each bring an average of three balls.
That's almost 200,000 balls that will pass through the ABC Tournament's
Scale Room during its 145-day run."
