All this bitchin' about lane conditions, and last week our local
hotshot/proshop owner puts together a league that will bowl on PBA
conditions. That is, whatever condition is being used on the tour that week,
the league gets to bowl on it. On off weeks they get the ABC conditions.
Naturally, I just HAD to sign up...or I could never say another word about
easy conditions, could I? :-)
Anyway, last night was the first night, and the 43-foot oil pattern kicked
our asses. I screwed up for the first game and a half, and managed a
whopping 175 for four games. I ended up throwing from 20 at the line across
15-14 at the arrows for a fairly good shot. My screw-up was using the wrong
ball.
