I have designed a bowling score program which will keep track of your scores in any league or tournament playing.. It also has a section for Bowling instructors to keep records for whoever they are teaching. Also a small section to keep accounts with. Its small at the moment but with time I will also grow to cater whatever would everyone wants :) If you wouldnt mind having a read of the website and giving me your feedback on how it looks and whether you think you would use it. http://tuxdevil.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/bowling.html (This site does NOT contain any viruii and NO porn at all for those of you who are worried about clicking links). There is now a DEMO CD to download and install.... http://tuxdevil.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/bowling.html For the first 50 people who download and use this prog I will give you 6 months free... The instructions on how to use and register the program are all on the site. Bascially I would like people across the world to have a look and use it and provide feedback so I can make this more useable.. Also feedback from Instructors around the world would be fantastic.. Hi Mike, You program shows great promise. You would probably need to flesh out the coaching functions with useful practical factors, rather than just putting them in the notes sections. That way, you could, over time, determine the most common problems and other trends. I've just added a video viewing screen so that you can video yourself bowling and watch it back and see for yourself where any issues arise in your approach.. Hopefully soon I'll put a Demo CD on the site for all to try :) Mike O'Leary BTBA Qualified Instructor VP - Bushbury YBC

All the calculation side of things is automatic and there is nwo the facility to generate reports based on the info you have entered... Is ist possibel to feed the score automaticly - for example with a *.ps file from the center? You have don't record the strikes, spares, splits, no clears or clean games. Take a look at here http://www.herbowlzheim.de It's the site from a Bowling Club in good old germany. The webmaster has build a program in which a *.ps from the bolwlingcenter can loaded up and all the data where stored in a mysql database. All the resultsites where dynamic generated with cgi. greets Robert -- There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't. http://www.one-m.de http://www.lugbz.org/documents/smart-questions_de.html
