Subject: My final Junior event...

I am just back from Malta where I participated in my final "youth event"
(strange, at 24!) where I am glad to say i finally captured my first masters
event!
It was on a very tough condition - one of the toughest I have faced... I
placed second in the doubles on day 1, at which point I was lying 4th
overall in my division... on day two, I managed 3rd in the singles, and
moved to 3rd in the all event.... day 3, finals day, I won 3 of my 5 games
in the top 6 Round Robin, to make the Stepladder in 2nd... It was an unusual
SL, as the lower placed player had to beat the higher one twice... I lost my
first match to the 3rd place guy, but won the second 247-148 with the help
of a few well timed brooklin strikes... In the final, I would need to win
twice - I took the first in very close style with a 199-191 victory, and in
the second I thought i had no chance till my apponent opened in the 9th and
allowed me to possibly double in the 10th to win... the first went brooklin
again, however I cammed my self to fluch the pocket in the next 2 shots to
take the win 182-177...
Needless to say, I was over the moon :)
(I thinen had to play a challenge match against the under 18s winner, and
give him 15 pins a game, wich I lost 2 games to 1, but I rather not remember
that :P)
