Subject: My bowling night of all time

Sorry folks for tooting my horn but, last summer I had the bowling night of
all time in my 30+ career.
I've had a total of (13) 300 games in my bowling career but never have had
an ABC/USBC sanctioned 800 3 game series.
Well, last summer I had 266, 299, 269 for a 834 for my 1st three games.
We bowl 4 games in this league. Two against one team on a pair of lanes then
move to another pair of lanes to bowl another team. So this 800 series means
even more to me in that I shot it on two different pairs of lanes. This can
be difficult as more often, no two pair of lanes will play the same.
On top it off when I shot 259 my last game to take over the high 4 game
series by more than 40 pins by shooting a total of 1093 for 4 games. This
was on the last night of bowling. So more cash baby!!!............

Congratulations. Good for you! Those 800s are rare. The closest I've come is
a couple 760s..... and that was before my new knees. I don't think I'll
catch that star now.

nice shootin'. :)
I have to ask, what'd you leave for the 299?

Thanks Ed, I left a wobbly 10 pin. Was a bit light and behind the headpin
on my last shot and almost left the 2-8-10. The 2 & 8 fell thank
goodness...........
