I add my wishes to yours Jim. I hope you and your family's holidays were the best! We spent them with our daughter and her husband in Richmond. We went bowling with them and I got to do some coaching. She had only one open the last two games, a 5-7 in the tenth of the last game. Whooopee! We got home about three hours ago....don't ask about the "Nightmare in Detroit" Suffice it to say we were originally scheduled for a 1/2 hour between flights and it ended up being 4 hours with nearly two of them sitting in the plane waiting to leave. Argh. Ya gotta love the way Northwest runs their business. Connections through that airport are the worst. And Happy New Year to everyone. -John O

If I have to go through there it is always in on gate 2 and out on 72. > If I have to go through there it is always in on gate 2 and out on 72. > The tram thing will help for that one. Me, I come in the other (commuter) terminal and need to get to gate 18, making the tram thing worthless and my legs burn. Or I come in on 18 and need to get to 51. (The terminal is literally a half mile long, and the tram stops only at gates 5, 35, and 70; the middle and the ends.) I hate that airport. Of all the airports I've been through, and it's a lot, that one still sucks the most. Maybe Kansas City is worse, but I don't ever make connections there. On topic...several of us noticed that we were shocking each other last night at the lanes. Not with our outstanding shotmaking skills, but with static electricity. Bell goes off in my head....the humidity is real low, the oil is going to dry up faster than usual. And it did, and I almost stayed ahead of the transition but still managed to earn four splits in the middle game. 242, 157, 232. -John O
