Subject: Importance of ball speed and weight

A friend and I disagreed about the importance of these factors, so I'd like to ask a hypothetical question: Suppose you were using a 10 pound ball thrown at low speed. Say, fast enough to easily continue through the pins and knock some down, but certainly not fast enough to send the pins flying about. Suppose you threw the ball 10 times, and it hits the #1 pin straight on. What would your result be? I think you could expect 3 strikes, 5 times 9 pins, and 2 times eight pins. My friend thinks the results would be much less. [Sorry if I double posted.]
