Subject: Help with knee pain

Hello, I'm having lots of knee pain when bowling and I was hoping I could get some advice on how to correct it. I'm not really sure what I'm doing that's causing it, but I would guess it has something to do with twisting the knee at the end of the approach. I'm right handed. I start on my left foot, take 5 steps, and end on my left foot and it's the left knee with the pain. I stand between the 2nd and 3rd dot (the furthest set of dots from the lane), and usually bowl from the 2nd to 3rd arrow depending on oil. I use a reactive resin 16lbs ebonite semi-fingertip. I've tried to concentrate on keeping my shoulders square with the alley and not doing any twisting motion but I haven't been able to prevent the knee pain. I have a feeling that even when I'm trying not to, I'm still twisting. Thanks for any tips or advice you can give! Sincerely, Chris Yates
