I've has mild to moderate bowler's elbow (why call it *tennis elbow?) for years now. Since March of 2005, I've had cortisone shots twice -- and relief for only 3 1/2 months each time. Figured I'd get the surgery now (was done on Monday, 6/12) so I can heal/do therapy over the summer.

Subject: Has anyone out there had elbow surgery?
The worst part is having that elbow immobilized. It's driving me INSANE!!!
In his assessment, the doc was amazed that my arm didn't hurt very much in day-to-day usage. (I *did* have some clicking when I bent it, which he said was rubbing of scar tissue.) It was mainly while throwing that 14# ball.
Since it didn't seem too severe, I'm hoping to be shipshape by at least a few weeks into the fall season.
Any other stories of woe or success out there?
