No, I'm not growing a new one, I'm referring to the callus that has been slowly increasing the size of my bowling thumb the last 6 months or so. At first it wasn't a problem, since it was small and I didn't really have a good fit on my ball. In the last 3 months I've had my ball re-drilled for a better fit and fingertip grip (I didn't know the difference the first time it was drilled). Since then the callus has been growing and at times painful. It's getting to the point, like last night, where I have a loose fit in the thumb at the start of the night, but by the end of the night am a little tender and had 1 or two shots where I was sticking in the ball. Th callus is on the inside side of my thumb, just above the knuckle. My first question is: Is there something obvious that I might be doing wrong to get such a callus? The second question is: Is there anythign I can do about it? Will taping it keep it from growing, swelling and/or sticking? Thanks, Chris
