Subject: Dressing the lanes and the league President

This is a copy of a question I sent to the USBC asking about what to do in this situation. Thought I'd see what opinions I got here also. (This guy really yelled at me about this, Like it was all my fault it happened) To Rulesstaff- Question regarding resposibilities of the League President This is my first time at being League President. I had a situation after our last league night. When we arived for bowling the Youth Travel league was there just finishing up, they were running a little behind and finished just minutes before our warmup time started. But our league started on time. After our league finished a bowler came to me wanting me to file a complaint because the House didnšt redress the lanes for our league after the Travel league got done. Also that the house should infrom us the week before that the Travel League will be there the next week and we will start later and also redress the lanes etc. (According to the house they dressed the lanes before the Travel league started. That way our league started on time and also so that the league following ours started on time. This seemed resonable. Also Išve bowled here for years on this league this has not been a real problem before.) Also there was a complaint that the conditions on one pair of lanes at one end of the house, wasnt exactly the same as on another pair of lanes at the other end of the house. How should I handle this type situation? I felt that since we dont have some written contract with the House regarding dressing the lanes before our league etc. and this isnt some big continuing problem. I dont need to file some complaint with the house about it. As long as everything is meeting USBC Guidelines. The Travel league is only there once a month and most times they get done a little earlier and the
