I've been bowling for the better part of the past 30 years but have hit

Subject: Carry as the night progresses
a wall lately. I have a question for the forum.
First, a little background on my situation - I bowl three games a week,
averaging 213 on a relatively easy shot (my average is 6th on our
league's average sheet in a league of 26, 5-man teams). Since I only
bowl once weekly, I have refrained from buying a new ball. I use an old
Brunswick Warp Zone. I am righthanded and throw relatively hard
(probably 17-18 mph) and play around an 11-8 shot. I don't miss many
spares, and when I do, it's mental not physical. The frustrating part
if that I leave a lot of 10-pins. For example, last week, I shot 711
with 8 10-pins and 22 strikes.
To make matters worse for me, my carry seems to get worse as the night
goes on. I have tried a number of adjustments and thusfar nothing has
worked (only a couple of adjustments per night). I've tried:
* moving up on the approach
* moving back on the approach
* moving in and throwing slightly slower
* moving right and throwing a little harder
* changing my wrist position to be more end-over-end, and
* cocking my wrist and spinning the ball through the heads.
None of this has helped get the corner pins out. On most nights, my
highest score is the first game, and it drops a little each game. Using
the FRAMES program, I see that I average 233 the first game, 211 the
second game, and 204 the final game.
NOW, the question - What do you guys do when you just can't carry the
