Subject: Boycott Monster Cable

Sometimes a company is run by an ego that just needs shot down. Monster Cable, the people that make lots of cables for audio and video gear, have been filing lawsuits against everyone that uses the term "monster" in any product, service, or company name. Get this...they think that letting Brunswick have a ball called Monster that the cable trademark is infringed somehow. Frankly, I can't remember the last time I was confused between audio cables and bowling balls. Hmmm. Anyway, this 'copyrighting of regular words' is nuts. Check out http://www.boycottmonstercable.com/ scroll down a bit below the photo, and there's a link to a list of all the lawsuits these idiots have filed. Naturally, Brunswick is in there on page 6 or 7. These guys also sued Monster Garage, Disney/Monsters, Inc., and many others. What a bunch of idiots. By the way, Monster's cables aren't all that great. You can get better-performing cables at Radio Shack, and they are a lot cheaper, too. Did I mention they are run by idiots? That's plenty of reason to suggest that bowlers choose other cables. -John O
