Subject: Bowler's Tape slipping

Has anyone else noticed recently (last month or so) their bowler's tape
doesn't stay in place and starts travelling toward the edge of the
thumbhole?
Its mostly the black tape, but today I had trouble with the white tape
also. Used to stay in place for many months worth of games and now I'm
lucky if it doesn't start coming undone after a couple of games. Has
yet to directly impact an individual shot. But have been getting
distracted by having to pay constant attention to the fit and status of
the tape. Should be a "set it and forget it" product and is not at all
lately.
One of the pros at the shop I frequent is also having the same trouble
and they said they are going to try changing brands. I don't have the
box in front of me now, so I don't remember the brand. Mostly a red box
with white and black. Just hoping its not a new trend ---some new
formulation they switched to on purpose. That would suck bigtime. This
is definitely one of those times when I am hoping its just an
accidental bad batch of the stuff and not someone's "bright" idea to
make removal of the tape easier.
