The diamond in my ABC 14k gold 300 game Eagle design ring fell out this weekend. Does anyone know what size diamond was in the ring? I would like to get it replaced. I know I could send it back to Keepsake, but since it is no longer under warranty, it might be cheaper to have it replaced locally. Edward DeGraaf, USBC Certified Bronze Level Instructor. Edward Just visit a jeweler that does repairs, they have a leverage gauge that can measure the diameter of the stone needed, and might be able to offer you a deal. The smaller the shop the better, the big retail guys are often brutal and will not negotiate on price!! Diamond caret weight is measured by either the stones scaled weight or estimated in calculation of the width and depth of the stone. If you blindly do this by caret only you might get a stone slightly larger or smaller than needed in diameter, (at the girdle) than you need. Granted most stones 10-15 points in size do not vary much... but why worry about it if done correctly in the first place first. I had a regular 300 ring that the diamond came out of.. I had a cubic zirconium piece put in at a local jeweler for about $10 On Jun 3, 3:42 pm, "Edward DeGraaf" <amf300bow...@spamwowway.com > wrote: > The diamond in my ABC 14k gold 300 game Eagle design ring fell out this > weekend.
